BILLING

Your water meter will be read the 20th of each month unless some unforeseen circumstance prevents the reading from taking place on that exact date. Your water bill payment will be due on the 20th of each month by 5:00 p.m. If the 20th falls on a weekend, you will have the next business day until 5:00 p.m. to pay your bill. 

If the 20th falls on a Monday or a Friday, the office will be open for its regular business hours to accept payments. Late bills will be printed with the incurred $10.00 late penalty the following business day with a due date of 15 days from the date printed. If the 15th day falls on a weekend, you have the next business day until 5:00 p.m. to pay your late bill. If the 15th day falls on a Monday or a Friday, the office will be open for its regular business hours to accept payments. If you do not pay your late bill by the stated due date, you will be charged a $10.00 door hanger delivery fee for a 48-hour notice to be placed on your door. If a customer receives a 48-hour shut-off notice, the District reserves the right to demand payment of the ENTIRE balance due on the account at that time to avoid the discontinuing of service. If you do not pay the amount stated as due within the 48-hour time frame, your water will be shut off. 

Please do not allow your bill to get to the point of your water having to be shut off for nonpayment where you will then be charged a fee of $50.00 to have your service reinstated. Feel free to visit the office to discuss filling out a Payment Arrangement Agreement Form before your bill ever reaches this point.

Please Note:  The due date of the 20th on the bills sent out after the late bills will not apply to the past due balance on the late bills.  The late bills need to be paid by their due date.

Photocopies for 25 cents per page  

Faxes for $2.00 for the first page and 50 cents for each additional page
