WATER, SEWER, STREET LIGHTS, AND PARK SERVICES

 DEPOSIT:  A  $250.00 deposit is required for all new customers to establish service.   $235.00 of the deposit is refundable to owners of properties, with no interest earned, after the owner makes 12 consecutive, on-time payments.  However, if the deposit is paid by a person renting a property, the deposit will be kept on file until the renter vacates the premises.  

$15.00 of the deposit is an administration fee that is nonrefundable.  Once the owner's 12 consecutive, on-time payments have been made, we ask that they inform the office staff, and the refund will be handled accordingly.  

If the customer does not stay in the residence upon which the deposit was placed, the customer's deposit will be applied to the final bill due; and if there is not a final bill due, the full deposit will be refunded.  If the customer chooses to transfer service from one residence to another within the District, there is a $15.00 transfer fee.

WATER RATES:   Our residential customers have the choice between two water rates.  

The first rate offered is 3,000 cubic feet (22.440 gallons) of water for $46.00 a month.  If you use between 3,100 and 7,000 cubic feet (52,360 gallons) of water, you will be charged $1.75 per 100 cubic feet (748 gallons) as an overage charge.  If you use anything over 7,000 cubic feet of water, you will be charged $2.70 per 100 cubic feet as an overage charge.  

The second rate offered is 1,500 cubic feet (11,220 gallons) of water for $23.00 a month.  If you use between 1,600 and 3,000 cubic feet (22.440 gallons) of water, you will be charged $1.75 per 100 cubic feet (748 gallons) as an overage charge.  If you use anything over 3,000 cubic feet of water, you will be charged $2.70 per 100 cubic feet as an overage charge.

HYDRANT METER RATE:   A $1,350.00 deposit is required for all new customers to establish  service.  $1,200.00 of the deposit is refundable with no interest earned upon the closing of the account.  $150.00 of the deposit is an administration fee that is nonrefundable.  There is a charge of $4.00 per 100 cubic feet of water used.

SEWER RATE:  Our residential sewer rate is $20.00 per household.  

STREET LIGHT RATE:  Every customer within the District is charged a $2.00 street light charge on their monthly bill.

PARK RATE:  Every customer within the District is charged an $8.00 park charge on their monthly bill.

FORMS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED:  The District ONLY accepts cash, check, or money order.

RETURNED CHECK FEE:   If the District receives a returned check from a customer, a $40.00 charge will be applied to their account to cover the bank charges assessed to the District.
